What we collect
Your email address; the production details you enter (title, producing entity and address, signatory, format, states, the main shooting location if you give one, dates and the screening questions); and, when you order, the attestation you sign: your drawn signature, your typed name, when you signed, and the IP address and browser you signed from; your order and payment status; and basic sign-in records.
How we use it
Only to prepare and deliver your documents, send your sign-in links, receipts and delivery emails, answer your questions, and keep our nonprofit's books. If you enter a fiscal sponsorship code, we check it, with your email address, against CFA's own fiscal sponsorship records. We never sell your information or share it for advertising. We use no analytics or advertising trackers and let no third party track you across sites, so we treat every visitor the same whether or not their browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Who handles it for us
Google (Google Drive stores your prepared documents; Gmail sends our emails). Stripe takes your payment; we never see or keep your card number. Squarespace keeps our newsletter list, only if you tick the newsletter box. Railway hosts this website and its database. GitHub hosts the website's code. Each handles your information only to provide its service to us.
Who can see your documents
You, and the CFA staff who run the service when something needs fixing. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Your files are available to you for twelve months from purchase. We keep order and payment records, including the attestation you sign, as long as nonprofit accounting rules require. If an order is never paid, its attestation is deleted after 30 days.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time from any newsletter email. To see, correct or delete your information, write to agreements@cinematographyforactors.com and we will answer within 30 days.
